The Spectrace QuanX X-ray fluorescence (XRF) chemical analyzer instrument very quickly determines the chemical elements contained in unknown samples.
It can do quick qualitative analysis which will simply identify the presence of any of the Periodic Table of Elements from sodium (Na) through uranium (U).
The QuanX can also be configured to do quantitative analysis which can report on each specific element’s percent, ppm, or weight fraction in a given sample.
Quantitative analysis is best achieved using standard references for the elements of interest whose energy responses are well characterized.
Our instrument has a 10-position sample tray which allows for high sample throughput under the control of a pre-designed method which is tailored to provide optimum analytical conditions for each element of interest.
